The Billy Rose Theatre Collection, established in 1931, holds invaluable clipping files containing a wide range of newspaper and theatre material concerning Fornes' works. Subject to copyright, a photocopying service is available.

Within the Billy Rose Theatre Collection is the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive (TOFT), established in 1970, which holds videotapes of some Fornes plays and her directorial work. It is best to make appointments to view them ahead of time. Contact TOFT direct: Tel: (212) 870 1642; Fax: (212) 870 1769. The Billy Rose and the TOFT staff are excellent in the help they give.
